Order and Shipping Times

We are currently under a nationwide shortage of ammo and firearms. We are doing all we can to get orders delivered as soon as possible, but we have been experiencing wait times of up to 6 months in some cases.

The minute you submit an order, the order is processed and sent to the distributor/manufacturer for fulfillment. Sosa Gun Shop can not guarantee how long it will take for your order to be filled by the distributor or manufacturer.

ANY CANCELLATION FOR ANY REASON CAN RESULT IN A CANCELLATION FEE OF UP TO 25%

By submitting your order, you agree to a non-refundable cancellation fee of up to 25%

Sosa Gun Shop will do everything to get your order filled as soon as possible, including offering substitutions of like items if available.

All orders require pre-payment to be placed.

If paying by credit card a 4% fee will be added to the order total.

Returns/Refund Policy

NO REFUND/NO EXCHANGE: AMMO and FIREARMS. There are no returns on firearms or ammunition. NO EXCEPTIONS.

NO REFUND/NO EXCHANGE: Any item “broken” or has manufacturer issue. Item must be replaced or warrantied by manufacturer.

NO REFUND/NO EXCHANGE: Any item that has been opened and used. This includes any item that has a broken seal.

REFUND/EXCHANGE: Unopened original package with receipt. Item must be new. Item must be able to be put back on the shelf. Item is subject to a restocking fee of 25%.

STORE CREDIT ONLY: Any unused item that has an opened or a damaged package. ITEM MUST BE CHARGED RESTOCKING FEE OF 25%.

STORE CREDIT ONLY: Any unopened package with no receipt. ITEM WILL BE CHARGED A 25% RESTOCKING FEE.


ALL RETURNS/REFUNDS MUST BE REFUNDED BACK TO THE ORIGINAL METHOD OF PURCHASE. IF A CUSTOMER NO LONGER HAS THE CREDIT CARD OR ORIGINAL PAYMENT METHOD, STORE CREDIT IS THE ONLY OPTION FOR THE REFUND.

Used Firearms

The seller provides all descriptions for used items. All descriptions for used items are honest and based on actual items being offered for sale. Items being sold in this manner will be marked as such. All sales on used items are final. Photos will be provided when available.

General Firearm Sales

All firearms, magazines, receivers and restricted law enforcement items are sold and shipped in accordance with all existing federal, state and local laws and regulations. Many of the firearms, magazines and parts for sale on this website may be restricted or prohibited in your area. Please check your local and state regulations before ordering. You must be 18 or older to purchase a long gun and 21 or older to purchase a handgun per ATF rules, but state and local laws may differ and you will need to check your local laws before purchasing a firearm.

All new firearms are shipped in the original manufacturer's box, with magazine(s), accessories and applicable warranty. Firearms requiring warranty work must be returned to the factory within 1 year of purchase for repair. Accessories and special order items not normally sold by our store will not be covered under warranty even if these products are part of an integrated firearms package, unless we have guaranteed the entire package in writing. Please contact the original manufacturer for warranty information on all accessories and special order items.

Consumer Data Privacy

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it.

The Credit Card Billing Information, Shipping Information, and Contact Information in our checkout process are required in order to process your order and deliver the product to you. We store some information for accounting reasons. Your information will not be shown to third parties not involved in the transaction, nor used to send you any unrequested information. The entire Checkout process is handled through a secure SSL-encrypted connection.

The Credit Card Billing Information is sent directly to our payment provider who processes your credit card transaction. The credit card information is neither recorded nor stored by us, and it can only be accessed by our payment provider. Each transaction has a very high level of security. Your credit card details are sent directly to the payment provider over a secure SSL-encrypted connection. They are not processed on our servers at any stage of the transaction, nor are they stored on our server.

Secure Transmission

All information collected during the checkout process is transmitted via industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) featuring 128-bit encryption. A Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Certificate creates an encrypted link between a website and a visitor's Web browser. This link ensures that all data passed between the website and the browser remains private and secure.

Order Fulfillment

All orders are shipped promptly from our warehouse or in-store inventory within 3 - 10 business days using UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Tracking numbers are available for items shipped via UPS and FedEx.

Online Price & Description Errors

Our online inventory changes every day. Occasionally an item may appear on the site by mistake or the item's description may contain a typographical error. We do not guarantee that titles, descriptions, pictures or prices on our site are error-free. We reserve the right to refuse any order including but not limited to orders for items with errors in the description or price. In the event that we cancel an order we will not charge the customer's credit card or we will refund the money.

If an item's description contains an error such as incorrect photo, price, accessory or description and a customer makes the order, we will not process the order without first contacting the customer. If the order is mistakenly shipped, we may advise the customer to return the item in an unopened condition and we will refund the customer. By placing an order, the customer agrees that Sosa Gun Shop will be the final arbiter of discrepancies in the online catalog.

Ammunition Purchases / Transfers

You must be 18 or older to purchase rifle or shotgun ammunition and 21 or older to purchase handgun ammunition. All ammunition will be shipped ground with adult signature required. Always make sure to use the correct ammunition for your specific firearms. Check your local laws for any other regulations.
NYS now requires us to keep a record for ammunition sales. This includes name, address, age and occupation along with how much ammo was purchased.
*All ammunition sales will comply with local and state laws and will not be shipped to any restricted areas.*

Firearm Transfers

Long Guns $40.00 Fee per Firearm
We will call you when it is ready for you to come in to do a background check

Handguns $50.00 Fee per Firearm
We will call you when it is ready for you to come in to do a background check

Expired 4473 $10.00 Fee
If you do not pick up your firearm within 30 days of your background check and must run a new 4473, you will be charged an additional $10 fee for each additional background check that would need to be run.

Policy

- Sosa Gun Shop reserves the rights to deny any transfer
- We will ONLY accept transfers from an FFL Dealer
- NO PRIVATE SALES (i.e.: person to person)
- All receivers must be stripped lowers. NYS S.A.F.E. Act prohibits the transfer of a completed lower receiver.
- Certain dealers/websites already have our license on file and will ship to us immediately so please call us to verify your transfer will be accepted. You will be responsible for return shipping costs and transfer fees even if it is not accepted

We will call you when your firearm/receiver is ready for a background check.
The transfer fee only includes 1 NICS 4473 background check. A $10 fee will be incurred for each additional background check should they be needed.
We will have to make any firearm NYS compliant under the S.A.F.E. Act before the transfer at your cost unless you are a police/peace officer.
If the firearm being transferred is not compliant with the S.A.F.E. Act and we are unable to make it compliant you will be responsible for the transfer fees and return shipping costs.
Magazines with a capacity of more than 10 rounds will be forfeited to Sosa Gun Shop.
Firearms being sent to us from a manufacturer under warranty work/gunsmithing are still subject to a NICS 4473 Background Check and appropriate transfer fees.
We only transfer firearms to U.S. Citizens
We only transfer firearms to NYS residents w/Valid ID
You must be 18 years of age or older to take possession of a long gun
You must be 18 years of age or older to take possession of ammunition
You must be 21 years of age or older to take possession of a receiver
You must be 21 years of age or older and possess a NYS Pistol Permit or Law Enforcement Credentials to take possession of a handgun

Storage fees

Any item not picked up within ten (10) days of being received in store will be subject to a storage fee of $25 per month.

Sosa Gun Shop will contact you via e-mail first and if provided, phone/text. If you are unable to pick up your product, you must make prior arrangements with Sosa Gun Shop, you will be subject to the storage fees.

Any item not picked up within ninety (90) days will be considered abandoned property. Sosa Gun Shop will determine the best course of action for all abandoned property, including reselling the item.
